Who I Am
Hi! I'm Macy Hanni, and I'm so glad you're here. I help young athletes fuel their bodies, improve their performance, and build a healthy relationship with food.
If you're an athlete who feels confused about what to eat, worries about food, or feels like your body is never "good enough," I want you to know you're not alone. I've been there too.
When I was a high school cross-country runner, I didn't eat enough to support my training. I was always tired, got hurt often, had a hard time recovering after workouts, and compared my body to the other girls on my team. Looking back, I know my body didn't need less food—it needed more fuel. That experience showed me how important good nutrition is for both health and sports performance. It also inspired me to help other athletes avoid the same struggles.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Dietetics and am now finishing my Master's in Dietetic Administration at Utah State University. I'm also working toward becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). I use what I've learned in school, my clinical training, and my own experience to help athletes build a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
My approach is based on intuitive eating, body respect, food neutrality, and fueling for performance. I believe you can do well in your sport and have a healthy relationship with food. You deserve both.
I know asking for help can feel scary. My goal is to create a place where you feel safe, heard, and supported. Whether you're struggling with disordered eating, body image, or want to learn how to fuel your sport, I'm here to help every step of the way.
I'm honored you're here, and I can't wait to help you fuel your body, feel stronger, perform your best, and build a healthier relationship with food. Together, we'll work toward wholesome health.
